You are free to choose which distilleries you would like to visit but if you are stuck for suggestion we can recommend the Balvenie Distillery, for example, which produces a single malt with a huge local following and interesting editions, like their 14 Year Old matured in Caribbean Rum Casks giving you a fascinating end flavour. Or Glen Dronach; a distillery on the north-east threshold of Speyside and a malt renowned for its sublime sherry-cask finish. And Strathisla Distillery; the oldest operating distillery in the Highlands and absolutely beautiful to boot, not to mention that their 12 Year Old was the 2015 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival winner.
